RingCentral Review: Internet Telephony Product Of The Year
One question I consistently hear from folks who are considering trying a phone system solution like ‘RingCentral’ is: ‘is it reliable?’.
Aside from having a virtually clean record with the Better Business Bureau, RingCentral continues to rack up awards. And it just won another, from Internet Telephony Magazine. These awards are usually testimony to a company’s staying power, product innovation, and reliability.

Just a quick suggestion of another useful service that I learnt about recently on lifehacks.org (or was it lifehacker?), JOTT.com
This service isn’t a phone service in itself but it works with your phone to transcribe messages you leave into text form.
From there it gets really interesting because you can send them to yourself as a reminder, send them to a group of people, send them to certain other web services. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Looks useful for customers service. may be worth checking out.
Also, a tip for the blog. You can give your users the option of subscribing to comments (so they are emailed when their is a reply comment).
You just have to install this wordpress plugin:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscribe-to-comments/
(this is if your blog is self hosted. not hosted on wordpress.com)
Cheers!
From The Editor: Thanks again, Tori! I have heard of Jott.com. I use an alternative called CallWave Voice To Text. Look for the link to the review on the right-hand side of this page, it is called “Callwave Review”. Thanks for reading and contributing!
